TransitionToArmenia.com was founded by a Diaspora Armenian and launched on April 20, 2008. Inspiration for the website comes from the Founders lifelong dream, for all Diaspora Armenian’s to return to homeland Armenia, and from the experiences encountered during her second trip to Armenia, in 2007.
The Founder has held numerous active positions in Armenian organizations. During her undergraduate education at the University of California, Irvine, she served as the “social events coordinator” for the Armenian Students Association of the university. In 1997 she volunteered with the Land and Cultural Organization, by taking part in the renovation of the Datev village church, in Armenia. In 2007, she lived in Yerevan, Armenia, for a quarter of the year and held the position of Visiting Assistant Professor at the American University of Armenia, School of Business and Management. As a Professor, she provided instruction to first and second year MBA graduate students in the courses, Introduction to Organization and Management; Human Resource Management; and Organization Analysis and Change. Since 2005, she has been a member of the Armenian National Committee, Professional Network, in California.
