HRD: Overcoming the monopoly concerns each of us
According to the RA Human Rights defender the monopole economy pushes our country to an impasse and the anti-monopole institutes do not work effectively and mainly have a formal nature.
“I do agree that there are not only subjective but also objective reasons. But the reason is mainly conditioned with subjective factors”, - Armen Harutyunyan said.
By the words of Harutyunyan there is a need of making change of institutional systems otherwise it will be impossible to overcome the challenges. The Defender is sure that the monopolies are needed to be taken out.
“There have been alarms from the market of the medicine, but all our economy is monopole. For solving the present issues we need will and wish”, - said the Human Rights Defender and added that the solution of the monopoly issue depends only on us.

Re:
I mean to have a clear idea what I'll do when I move to Hayrenik, ex. type of business or employment in a foreign company.
Some major reasons
One of the major reasons that is holding most of us back from moving to Hayrenik is the financial reason. Our Hayrenik is still a newborn economy, even though everyday we hear that the GDP is rising, but with it the inflation is rising triple the time and the annual family incomes are still the same. Finding a job in Armenia probably it's not impossible, but I'm not sure if it will be enough for my family's survival, especially with the rising food and accomodation prices. So I personally see that without having a "good plan" moving to Armenia especially from Europe or the west is a suicide. By "good plan" I mean to have a clear idea what I'll do when I move to Hayrenik, ex. type of business or employment in a foreign company.
The other reason is the way that things work in Armenia, it's like any other 3rd world country, nothing goes forward without bribes, peolpe find this the only solution to make more money instead of being creative and puting some additional effort, and moving to Armenia from a country that is economically very advanced, and where services are available to the public with clear requirements and without the involvment of the bribe. I lived all my life in a 3rd world country where bribing was an integral part of the economy and the government institutions, and going back to such a mentality I find it very difficult to digest.
Another reason is the lack of trust in the judiciary system. Even though I personally never experinced this, but from what I read and hear, it's a mess. If you're not backed up by an "important" person you're not gonna reach anywhere with the system. Imagine if you're having a leagal issues with your business partner, and you want to settle this issue in the court, if he has a backup and you don't, good luck in trying to get what is yours...
There are still a lot of reasons that probably I can add it later on in our discussion, like healthcare, education(school and university systems), etc...
I hear you, but we have to find a way
For me as well: (1) money (2) work. I am currently seeking employment in Armenia; some way to make a living so that I can make the move. I know that once I am there, it will be easier. But I am still in Canada and trying to be as prepared as is possible before making the final move. I am actively seeking resources, information, advice, assistance. It's good to know that I am not alone.

Dear Adrineh, pleasure to have you join us at TransitionToArmenia :) Regarding jobs, a) check out the recently posted link for the UNDP program, under the forum topic "opportunities in Armenia" and b) visit the employment links under the "helpful links" tab
I am sure; soon enough, you will find a perfectly fitting employment position, in Armenia :) Wishing you all the best!
main reason
I have been actively searching for a job in Armenia. I've been concentrating on openings at the U.S. Embassy in Yerevan but am open to Non-profit work as well. I just haven't found the right opportunity. Believe it or not, my 2 1/2 year old daughter lives there 6months out of every year, traveling back and forth between Yerevan and Los Angeles with my mother-in-law. Needless to say I'm very jealous.
I just need the right job...
